If you are on a quest to be someone, to do something, and to make the most with your life, remember there will always be others that try and pull you down and stop you from becoming what you truly want to be.
This could come in the form of put downs, sabotage, testing your integrity or speaking negatively behind your back.
Provided you are doing what you believe is the “right” thing, these forms of attack come from a myriad of places that have nothing to do with YOU, but come from the insecurities and frustrations of the OTHER PERSON.
This is not about laying blame or pointing the finger towards others for your level of success, because that’s what some will do to you.
It’s about taking full responsibility for your success and observing how others react to you climbing YOUR ladder of success on YOUR journey.
Anthony Hopkins once said “It’s none of my business what people say of me and think of me. I am what I am and I do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. And it makes life so much easier.”
So, don’t let these people affect who you are or what you are doing, because it’s your life, not theirs, so as long as you are not hurting anyone, do what the hell you want and keep your eye on the prize.
